Knight Feud is a turn based game ideal for 2 players,
but you can play against the A.I. for a 1 player game.
Each side consists of up to 5 cohorts of 12 units each.
Maneuver the cohorts for strategic advantage,
and then battle the enemy for tactical superiority.
Try to pillage the enemy castle, or eliminate his units.
If a cohort is not completely defeated,
it may recruit new units, if they can be afforded.
Each unit has experience which translates into rank.
This improves their attack, defense, speed and power.
A cohort that does not move will heal wounds.
Revelries and tournaments also help recuperate
exhausted cohorts.

Terrain,
combat, morale and wealth. |
| You
can examine each individual unit's stats during your turn by
selecting from the options on the right. In melee combat, the
unit's name tag on the right panel will flash with a positive
number or a negative number, to display higher terrain advantage
(or not).
You may choose which scenario and map you want to battle on
at the start. Observe the contours and select your battle grounds
when you can.
Morale is vital. It increases with each victory and can add
to the units' form-bonus. If the combined
morale of a cohort is very low, the cohort may desert.
You gain gold by the width of the territory under your control,
and also by defeating high-ranking opposition. Spread your units
out to acquire wealth, or move them together to go on the offensive.
Water slows down units, as does climbing to a higher terrain.
