TIPS AND GAME CONCEPTS

OG 3
Orbit Game 3

Radius
Beyond the Radius of each planet, Newtonian gravity applies.
Core
The larger the Core, the easier it is for planets to bond.
Magma
Between the Radius and the Core, geophysical forces are represented by a random Magma effect.
Spin
Spin represents the starting position and momentum of each planet, deliberately placed to mimic a large broken up body already in a viable orbit. When Spin is unticked, starting position and starting momentum are random.
Momentum
Starting momentum for each planet.
Wrap
When a planet leaves the screen, wrap it to the opposite end of the screen.
Slomo
Wrap the planet, but halve its momentum.
Wall
Bounce the planet.
Comet
Bounce the planet, and halve the momentum.
Chaos
Re-enter the planet from the direction it left, but vary the axis.
4-dim
Planet is lost. A new planet appears in a new place. If you tick Spin, then it appears at an optimal place within a 90 degree accuracy. << see Spin <<

Stability
Stability is the length of time since a planet last left the screen.
Score
Score is a combination of stability and number of planets. A large Jupiter-like planet should form to absorb loose planetoids and keep the solar system stable.
Presets
Predefined parameters for interesting solar system models.
Limits
This model is an impressionist work of multimedia programming, with many simplified concepts, but based nontheless on that powerful, yet amazingly simple equation:
g = m / r^2
Results
Without pre-ordained SPIN, a solar system cannot form.
